KERN Laser Cutting Tool Drawers – Foam Cutter

This is laser cutting tool drawers by a Kern Laser system. We started by scanning all the tools with a scanner. Next we positioned each tool in the CAD program and then finally clicked on "cut" on the Kern Laser Cutter. The foam is 1/2" Thick tool foam and then glued to a colored plastic or foam. Polyethylene foam (PE) can be laser cut to make tool organizers. Here, we used a Turnkey Laser to cut out an organizer for a set of eyeglass screwdrivers. The result is a custom, form fit organizer in a matter of minutes.
